But the color and stability of the picture was obviously visible from any distance. Only when I went up to the screen could I see the resolution advantage of the RX. Interestingly the difference in detail could not be detected on my 77" TV from a normal seating distance. Although the RX was a bit more detailed and had somewhat better DR, I found the color was better on the OP as was obviously the stability of the picture.

If the color was neutral like mine (I find the color on the OP is great), the A/B would have been even closer. I can only imagine what this A/B would have looked like had he NOT attached a stabilizer to the Sony! The other thing I noticed is that his OP has a pinkish cast that I've never seen on mine in any kind of lighting.
